The laser creates a beam of high-intensity light that
penetrates deeply into skin tissue, where it delivers a
controlled amount of targeted therapeutic heat. A test area
will be done prior to the entire treatment. Your full
treatment may be done on the same day, depending on the skin
reaction.
What to Expect

Once you arrive to the spa our receptionist will guide you
to the waiting area where, with the soothing sound of water
cascades, you will wait for a Medical Aesthetician. At the
treatment room you will be provided with safety eyewear to
protect your eyes from the laser light. A Laser Hair Removal
could take as little as a few minutes to as long as an hour,
depending on the area and condition being treated.
Some patients may feel a slight discomfort with each laser
pulse, sometimes described like the snapping of a rubber
band on the skin.
Preparation

Patients scheduled for Laser Hair Removal treatment should
avoid plucking, electrolysis or hair waxing for six weeks
prior to treatment. Also, your skin should be clean shaven,
and your skin should be thoroughly cleansed and dried,
removing any make up, creams, oils, topical anesthetics or
self-tanning products before the Laser Hair Removal
treatment.
After Treatment

Any redness or swelling, after your Laser Hair Removal
treatment, should resolve within a few hours. Also, you
should prevent sun exposure. Once the Laser Hair Removal
treatment, your Medical Aesthetician will apply an layer of
sunblock. In the first few days after treatment, don't scrub
or rinse the treated areas with abrasive cleansers.
